Following the successful launch of the award winning MeacoFan 1056AC in 2018, which was a sell-out in the heatwave, Meaco is delighted to announce the launch of two new cooling fans, the MeacoFan 650 and the MeacoFan 360, creating a family of fans to suit all room sizes. These smaller versions are ideal for home or office use, anywhere where a near silent, low energy cooling fan would be useful.
Feedback from Meaco customers found that a smaller size, suitable for bedroom use, and with the option of a gloss finish were needed. The MeacoFan 650 ticks both of those boxes, whilst the MeacoFan 360 has been introduced to provide a low noise option which takes up very little space, perfect for bedside tables, office desks, and even windowsills.
As well as stylish and light weight, the MeacoFan range is low on energy consumption and noise levels, partly down to DC technology, making them a popular choice for use in the bedroom. This also ensures lower running costs, and a better quality of fan. All have been awarded a QuietMark in recognition of being amongst the quietest cooling fans tested to date. Quiet Mark is the international approval award programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. The 650 has a noise level starting from just 20 decibels, and at 15 decibels the 360 is the quietest in the MeacoFan range ( equivalent to a babbling brook, a whisper or some rustling leaves.)
Both new models have an Off Timer so the fans will turn off after a period of time, ensuring you don’t wake up feeling cold in the night, particularly useful in a child’s room. The 650 has the option of a light to provide a dim glow in the bedroom, and an ECO mode allows the fan to regulate its own performance depending on the room temperature. The higher the room temperature the faster the fan speed. It also has a remote control.
Consumers now have the choice of a fan suitable for different room sizes, knowing the whole room will be cooled due to multi-directional oscillation, that bounces cool air off walls and ceilings. The 1056 fan head moves up and down, whilst all three move left and right. This action and cooling results are a major difference to your standard pedestal or tower fan.
