Air Purifiers

Christmas is a busy time for everyone and you’ll want to celebrate and enjoy it with friends and family. However, we’re all short on time around this festive period, and if we’re not careful, house cleaning can get neglected. No one wants their guests coming round to dirt and mess, so fortunately there’s a number of ways you can get things sorted relatively quickly. Let’s check out a few handy ways to get your house party-ready this festive season.

Kitchen cleanliness

Kitchens are central points at parties, where people tend to congregate, nibble on snacks and chat. It’s also where you prepare all the food. Therefore you need to make sure it’s clean and hygienic at all times. The best thing to do is give it a deep clean in preparation, but if you simply don’t have time the next best thing is to focus on smaller jobs and do them regularly.

Spray down worktops, scrub the sink and sweep or vacuum the floor on a daily basis. Each job shouldn’t take more than five minutes, but if you leave them to mount up you’re looking at much harder work and you’ll be up against the clock as your party approaches.

Make your bathroom sparkle

As time is often short, you need a quick method to get your bathroom sparkling before guests arrive. Start off by spraying your bathroom cleaner on the bath, shower, basin and taps whilst you move onto cleaning the toilet. The bathroom cleaner will continue to do its work as you polish the mirrors and wipe down tiles.

By the time you’ve given everything a good wipe over the cleaner will have got rid of the grime, so all you have left to do is rinse. This is a sure-fire way of making your bathroom look great and should be doable in less than 30 minutes.

Clean your loo

Whether it’s as part of your bathroom cleaning or cleaning a separate toilet, the last thing you want is for your guests to walk into a shabby loo. Before you attack the outside, put your rubber gloves on and squirt toilet cleaner under the rim and leave it to do its work. Next, you can use an antibacterial spray to clean the pedestal, seat, lid and flush. Finally, give the inside a good scrub and flush to rinse away.

Don’t forget to give the floor a mop or wipe down with antibacterial wipes too. When cleaning the toilet and bathroom, be careful of getting cleaning fluids on your clothing. Don’t worry if you do, though, as bleach stain removal products can get even the most stubborn ones out. If you’d like to know more about bleach stain removal just click here.

 The rest

Those are three of the most important areas that you need to focus on over Christmas, but what about the rest of the house? Just like with the kitchen, deal with the lounge in bite-size pieces. If you have others living with you in the house, ask them for some help! Give things a quick dust and pop the vacuum cleaner around regularly; try not to leave it to the last minute, as you’ll give yourself loads to do.

One thing people often overlook is the importance of air quality, but there’ll be a lot of people in and out of your home so this aspect is actually quite important. The best way to keep the air fresh is to use quality air purifiers, just make sure they are placed in areas that give them plenty of clearance in order to do their job properly.

Follow these simple tips and you can get your home ready for the Christmas fun with ease.
